Sean was born in Tokyo, Japan, grew up in Las Vegas, NV and moved to Mission Viejo, CA as a teenager.  He gave his life over to Jesus when he was a sophomore in high school and attended Hope International University.

Sean and his wife, Angel, met at Hope International University in Fullerton, CA, where he received his Bachelors Degree in Biblical Studies / Church Growth.  He did Student Ministry in the San Fernando Valley and then moved to Oregon in 1997 to do Student Ministry in Tigard, OR.   In 1999, he received a certificate in Youth and Family Ministries from Fuller Theological Seminary.  In 2003, Sean was the founding Lead Pastor of Potter’s Hands Christian Church, a Daughter Church of Tigard Christian Church.  In 2007, Potter’s Hands planted their first daughter church, NW Catalyst Communities.

In 2011, Sean became the Executive Director for the Northwest Christian Evangelistic Association.  This ministry exists to exalt Jesus and expand God’s kingdom by encouraging pastors, equipping leaders and establishing new churches in the Portland / Vancouver area.

Sean and his wife have been married for twenty two years and have four children (three daughters and a son), a golden retriever (Roxy) and a cat (Mayhem).  Sean loves to spend time with his wife and kids, surfing at the Oregon coast and living life to the fullest.
